Welcome to SOUL Dining, Sydney’s only hatted Korean restaurant and a true pioneer in contemporary Korean-Australian fusion cuisine. Founded in 2018 by husband-and-wife team Daero Lee and Illa Kim, SOUL Dining has been challenging perceptions of Korean food since its inception, earning critical acclaim and a coveted chef’s hat for its innovative approach.

Originally established as a 30-seat restaurant in Surry Hills, SOUL Dining relocated to Wynyard in Sydney’s CBD at the end of 2023, expanding into a sleek, modern space while maintaining the exceptional quality that earned its reputation. The restaurant masterfully blends traditional Korean flavors with contemporary techniques and the finest local seasonal ingredients, creating dishes that are both visually stunning and extraordinarily delicious.

Executive Chef Daero Lee presents a curated journey of classic and avant-garde dishes, each telling a unique story of flavor and culture. The dark, moody interiors feature splashes of marble, charcoal walls and furniture, striking flora displays, and hanging statement lights – perfect for date nights, special occasions, or long catch-ups with friends.
