Boutique Fusion Japanese Restaurant & Bar
About Moku
Tucked away in a heritage sandstone building on Crown Street in Darlinghurst, Moku offers an intimate Japanese fusion dining experience that blends traditional Japanese techniques with native Australian ingredients. The name “Moku” is the Japanese word for timber, reflected in the warm wooden accents throughout this two-storey venue.
Led by renowned omakase chef Ha Chuen Wai (formerly of Sushi E and Sokyo), Moku delivers exceptional Japanese cuisine with a modern Australian twist. The drinks program is curated by celebrated mixologist Charles Chang, featuring premium Japanese whiskies and creative cocktails.
