Celebrated a couple of birthdays here with a group of 14 and it was absolutely spectacular. We had the $99 set menu and it genuinely tasted great — definitely filled everyone up. The service was fun, attentive and knowledgeable throughout the whole evening. The restaurant is beautifully appointed with natural light and the water views are simply breathtaking. We had the most exceptional dinner at Alegre. Despite some complicated dietary requirements, the staff went out of their way to make everything work and were genuinely warm and friendly throughout. We had the mid-level set menu and every single item was exceptional — the Mayan-spiced king prawns and octopus ceviche were extraordinary standouts. The harbour setting is simply beautiful, and the resident DJs on the weekend create a wonderful energy without ever overwhelming the dining experience. Truly world-class hospitality right here in Sydney!
