Founded by restaurateur Matteo Margiotta and executive chef Cristiano Patacca (formerly of OTTO and est.), the restaurant brings handmade pasta, a show-stopping seafood platter, grilled king prawns with Italian XO salumi, and an award-winning wine list to one of Sydney’s most atmospheric dining rooms — whitewashed walls, soaring ceilings, terracotta tiles, olive trees and all.

We were celebrating my husband’s birthday. Love the interior of the restaurant and also the outdoor with the green vine leaves — so beautiful. The staff were very kind, greeting us with smiles, and the food was delicious. I loved the king prawn entrée and the tiramisu was also wonderful. The mocktail was sweet and refreshing. It was a beautiful lunch — so nice to have an Italian restaurant like this in the neighbourhood!

The food here is amazing — large, reasonably priced cocktails, an extensive wine list, and the fresh seafood entrées bursting with flavour. The warm, high-end atmosphere with Italian ceramics, olive trees, and marble accents is something else. The authentic Italian pasta including cacio e pepe and ragu was simply delicious. Attentive staff and thoughtfully curated decor that added to the whole experience. Will absolutely return.
